What is the difference between peak and off-peak travel? +
Peak hours are Monday to Friday from 06:30-09:00 and 16:00-18:30. Off-peak travel is cheaper and valid at all other times, including weekends and public holidays.
How do I use the Holland Travel Ticket? +
Simply check in at the start of your journey by tapping your ticket on the card reader, and check out at the end. The ticket is valid on all participating public transport operators.
Can I use these tickets on international trains? +
No, these tickets are only valid on domestic Dutch public transport. For international trains to Belgium, Germany or other countries, you need separate tickets.
Are children's tickets available? +
Yes! Children aged 4-11 can travel at a reduced rate. Children under 4 travel free. The Holland Travel Ticket also offers a special kids version at a lower price.
